Work-shop agenda

Interested in applying for medical school, denstisty, medical sciences, or studying Biomedicine at University, then we would strongly advice to attend our live hands-on workshops for GCSE, A level and IB students.

We offer hands – on live workshops with practical sessions in handling patients, medical ethics, medical procedures, and biomedical procedures.

At the end of the workshops, students get “A certificate of Attainment” which could be useful for them to add to their CV, statement of purpose and moreover to get real life experience of life as a medic and scientist.

We run these hands – on practical workshops in Buckinghamshire.

Hands – on workshop fees –  £275 per day (Max group of 6 per session).

Workshop – 5 days work experience. 

Cohort of students – Suitable for GCSE/ IGCSE/ A level and IB students

Work experience is our aim for students to have a practical experience in taking good history and every body system examinations using stethoscope, understand the medical ethics and various medical procedures. Students would be able to have a hands-on experience on different biochemistry tests such as blood tests, blood transfusion, read biochemical results, learn interpretation of tests.

Timings – 9 am to 5 pm

A sample day programme:

9 to 10 – History Taking

10 to 11 – Examination skills

11 to 11:30 – Coffee break

11:30 to 13:00 – Body System examination

13:00 to 14:00 – Lunch

14:00 to 15:30 – Medical and Biochemical blood analysis

15:30 to 16:00 – coffee break

16:00 to 17:00 – Management plan

Students will be block booked to ensure that they have a chance to get wider experience as possible.
